Sungha Jung is coming to Borneo!

I'm so excited that the Youtube sensation  Sungha Jung from Korea is coming to Borneo for his first performance in Kota Kinabalu this 15th of December! He will be in Kuching for the second time on the 16th of December!

Kota Kinabalu‘s residents are in for a treat. It was officially announced today at a press conference that Sungha Jung, 16-year old Korean acoustic fingerstyle guitarist, will be making his first ever visit to Kota Kinabalu.

Borneo Tru Events Sdn Bhd (TRUevents) is proud to have the privilege to organise Sungha’s first

ever Borneo tour, alongside sponsors and partners Ekselans Events, 1 Borneo Hypermall, Core

System Technologies Sdn Bhd, and Lee Miing Press.

The concert will take place at Convention Hall, Star City Conference & Event Centre, Asia City,

Kota Kinabalu, 7.00pm to 10.00pm on 15 December 2012. The show will open with an act by

Chris Cheong, Malaysia's youngest Professional Mentalist, Magician and Illusionist, followed by a

performance of pure bliss by Sungha Jung himself. The YouTube sensation will also be performing in Kuching the day after, where he had created fan mayhem when he made an obscurely-promoted appearance at an event at Kuching International Airport earlier this year.

Fans of Sungha Jung are urged to obtain their passes to the show as early as possible. There are three tiers of passes; Platinum, Gold and Silver. Platinum pass holders are entitled to a pre-concert buffet dinner, one complimentary Sungha Jung CD album of either ‘Perfect Blue’ or ‘Irony’, assigned seating at the Platinum zone, and priority entry to the post-concert autograph session with Sungha Jung. Gold pass holders will be given light refreshments prior to the concert, one complimentary Sungha Jung CD album, free seating in the Gold zone, and entry to the post-concert autograph session. Silver passes, which can only be bought online at www.SunghaJungLiveInBorneo.com, entitle holders to free seating in the Silver zone. Concert doors open at 5.30pm.

Pass sales had commenced over a month ago, online and at sales booths in 1 Borneo Hypermall and Warisan Square, and has received overwhelming response from fans, local and abroad. Those who have yet to obtain a pass are encouraged to visit the sales booth in Warisan Square on weekdays, and 1 Borneo on weekends. Sungha Jung will be meeting fans at 1Borneo Hypermall on 14 December. The Meet & Greet session is slated to be from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Lucky fans can get their posters, CDs, and other Sungha Jung merchandise autographed by the star.
