Ho Chi Minh City experience Day 1

Officially blog about my first day in Ho Chi Minh City! The post starts now.
As usual, my seat in the aeroplane just did not varies much, always from 15-18.
Those seats will all get the wings of the plane.

My mum and I only arrived at Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) around 4.30pm Viet time.
Headed to The Manor to leave our baggage and only went out for dinner at night.

We ate at this Chinese Restaurant in Vietnam named Yeebo.
There's a total of 3 floors up if not mistaken. We were seated at the ground floor. Phew~
The entrance
The interior - the lights are pretty right?
trà đá - pronounced as cha da.

Huge sea creatures.
Oh look! It's a rock fish. Spot it?
Roasted chicken, duck, swan and piglet!
Guess which did I ate?
Roasted Swan meat! Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside.
Some of the steamboat ingredients! Love how they poke the prawns on sticks like satay. XD
1st round of the steamboat was filled with pork ribs and bones, pears, and red dates.
No MSG used for the soup base! Awesome right?
One great thing eating in Yeebo was the service.
We don't even need to cook the fresh ingredients ourselves, they cook everything for us!
Huge crab, meat, prawn and fish balls!

Look at the texture of  the sliced beef. I'm salivating before it's even cooked!
Tofu stuffed with meat!
Didn't eat this that night but it tasted just as good after reheating it the next day.
Caught eating! XD
Pretty Vietnamese waitress that speaks Cantonese too!
Previously the meat from the bones and ribs. They even cut it for us!
A lot of ingredients! Prawns, mushrooms, all the balls and meat!
The soup taste sweeter after putting all the ingredients in.
After all that eating, time to wipe my mouth with wet tissue.
Lastly, our dessert is peanut paste soup! Deliciously sweet!

This is definitely a great steamboat experience not to be missed in Vietnam! Total damage was 3,000,000 Dong = RM440!
Time to work those calories away! Shopping is the way!
Saigon Centre is near Yeebo, a street away behind the restaurant.
This is Saigon Centre. I love the lights!
Lots of kiosk store selling various products from clothes, bags, shoes, accessories and even electrical stuff.
See what I mean? Love the bokeh!
Some of the stores here.
The tip to buy things in Vietnam is to bargain.
For me, the clothes and bags doesn't appeal to me here because it's more pricy.
KFC!
Vanilla Ice Cream - last dessert before going home.
KFC located just below the apartment so we conveniently had it before going up to the apartment!
Hope you enjoyed my post as much as I do!
